make something.

The Exercise.

Lever wood out of old houses with a pry bar and hammer.  Paint panels of shapes and color without consideration for posterity or talent.  Employ simple solutions and allow imperfections to mark tradition with utility…applicability and timing. No special tools required, only a sharp edge, sustained concentration and a murmur...“most marvelous is not the beauty, deep as that is, but the classic attempt at beauty”. Collect, commit, cut, glue, sand, oil…repeat.
